De Palm Island is Aruba's own private coral island, a short ferry hop from Port de Palm and the simplest all-in day on the island. Admission covers the ferry, round trip transport from most major hotels, unlimited food and drinks with a lunch buffet and grill station, snorkel gear with a guided snorkel tour, unlimited banana boat rides for ages 10 and up, the drop slides and kids water park, salsa lessons, and a beach bed or palapa on a first come basis. The helmet dives (Sea Trek and Snuba) and the cabanas are paid upgrades bought on the island on the day, not part of admission. The island also keeps a flock of Chilean and Cuban flamingos in a reserved section, and the standard entry ticket is a view from a distance; being among the birds means adding one of the paid premium areas (VIP Palapa, Premium Seating, Private Cabana or Beach Cabana) on top of admission.
