How to Spend Less Without Missing Out
Travel June to November
Same sunshine, still outside the hurricane belt, but hotels and flights drop well below the December to April peak.
Eat where locals eat
A plate at Zeerovers or a food truck costs a fraction of a resort dinner and is often better. Mix in groceries for breakfast.
Rent a car only when you roam
Skip the daily rental. Get a car for the two or three days you want Arikok or the north coast, and go car free the rest.

Aruba Budget FAQ
How much does a week in Aruba cost for two people?+
A typical mid range week for a couple lands around $4,000 to $6,000 all in, covering flights, a Palm or Eagle Beach hotel, food, a few tours, and a couple of car days. Budget travelers can come in well under that, and luxury resorts push it higher. Use the calculator above to match it to your own plans.
When is Aruba cheapest to visit?+
June through November is the value window. You get the same sunshine and the island still sits outside the hurricane belt, but hotels and flights are noticeably cheaper than the December to April peak. Booking a few months ahead helps in any season.
What is the biggest cost in an Aruba trip?+
Usually the hotel, then flights. Where you stay and which season you pick move the total more than anything else. Food and tours are easier to flex up or down once you are there.
How can I save money in Aruba?+
Travel in the June to November value season, eat at local spots like Zeerovers instead of only resort restaurants, rent a car only for the two or three days you actually explore, book tours online ahead of time, and lean on the free things to do. Four of my favorite experiences cost nothing.
Are there hidden fees I should budget for?+
The ED Card is required but completely free on the official government site, so ignore any site charging for it. Budget for taxi fares in cash, tips at restaurants, and check whether your hotel adds a service charge and tourism levy to the nightly rate.
