A real session, deep rest under the sea grapes

Eagle Beach, Aruba

The deepest rest on the island

Chakra opening, guided meditation, and a long slow wash of singing bowls and gongs with the sea as the backing track. One hour on the sand of Eagle Beach that guests keep calling the stillest they have felt in years.

The sound healing session

Lie down, close your eyes, the bowls do the rest

Vacations rest the body; this hour rests the part of you that kept planning the vacation. The session opens gently with breath and a chakra opening, settles into a guided meditation, and then the instruments take over: singing bowls, gongs, resonant tones layering with the waves a few steps away. You do nothing but lie on warm sand and let it happen.

Sessions run Monday and Thursday mornings and stay deliberately small. If you want movement first, the same instructor teaches a beach yoga class on Tuesdays and Fridays, with its own page.

The hour

How the session unfolds

  1. Arrive

Shoes off at the blue equipment

The meeting spot is directly across from O Condominium and La Quinta, under shade, with parking and the bus stop right there. Lay out your towel; the instruments are already waiting.

  2. Opening

    Breath and chakra opening

A gentle landing: guided breathing and an opening sequence that walks through the energy centers, tuning the group to the hour ahead. No experience needed, ever.

  3. Stillness

    Guided meditation

The mind finally arrives on the island your body reached days ago. The sea does half the work; the guiding voice does the rest.

  4. The wash

Bowls, gongs, and the long sound bath

The heart of the session: a slow, layered wash of resonant instruments while you lie in deep rest. Guests routinely lose track of time entirely.

Cancellation policy, in plain words

  • Reserving is free. Until you pay the deposit there is nothing to cancel and nothing to lose.
  • Cancel 48 hours or more before your activity: full deposit back, no questions.
  • The crew cancels for weather: full deposit back, always, or we rebook you first if you prefer.
  • Inside 48 hours: the deposit is not refunded, but we can move your date or transfer the booking to someone else in your group, the same options the crew offers on the beach.

The same words appear in your confirmation email. No fine print behind a link.

Sessions run Monday 10:15 AM and Thursday 9:00 AM.

Total $80 for 2 guests: $16 deposit by email, $64 at the beach.

How this works: your booking goes straight to the crew. The deposit is only asked after your date is confirmed, it counts toward the activity price, and the balance is paid on the day straight to the crew. The full cancellation policy is spelled out next to this form and repeated in your confirmation email. Your details are used for this booking conversation and nothing else.

Your instructor

Held by someone the beach knows by name

Your instructor has called Aruba home for more than 25 years and holds these sessions on the same stretch of Eagle Beach she practices on herself. Sound healing on Mondays and Thursdays, yoga and sunrise hikes on the other mornings: her whole calendar is the island at its quietest hours.

Sessions stay small and personal. Tell her what you are carrying, or celebrating, and the hour is tuned to exactly that.

  • 25+ years living on Aruba
  • Certified yoga and sound healing instructor
  • Also leads the beach yoga class and the sunrise hike

I cannot express how amazing this sound healing experience was! This was our first excursion on our first day in Aruba and it set the stage! The instructor was phenomenal at bringing us into the moment, connecting us with nature and making me, a novice, feel comfortable.

The honest fit

Is this your day?

We would rather lose a booking than put you on the wrong morning. Read both sides.

Book it if

  • You want one hour of the vacation that quiets the noise completely
  • Curious skeptics welcome: no beliefs required, only a towel
  • Something to process, release, or celebrate; the session can be tuned to it
  • You are staying low-rise: the meeting point is a barefoot walk away

Skip it if

  • You want a workout; this hour is stillness, the yoga class next door is movement
  • Little ones under 12 are in tow; teens from 12 join at adult price
  • Lying still for a long stretch sounds like torture; take the sunrise hike with the same guide instead

How booking works

Three quiet steps, no surprises

Reserve your spot

Pick a Monday or Thursday, tell us who is coming. Reserving is free and nothing is charged on this site.

We confirm with the instructor

We check your morning against her calendar and your confirmation lands in your inbox, with a small secure deposit link in the email after it: $8 per person.

Towel on the sand

The rest is settled at the beach: $32 per person, straight to the instructor. Then the bowls start.

Cancel 48 hours or more ahead for a full deposit refund, and if the instructor calls off a session for weather, every cent comes back, always. The same words appear in your confirmation email.

Good to know

Asked before every session

How much does the sound healing session cost, and when does it run?

The session is $40 per person, teens from 12 pay the adult price, and it runs Mondays at 10:15 AM and Thursdays at 9:00 AM on Eagle Beach. An $8 per person deposit by email confirms your spot and the remaining $32 is settled at the beach.

What actually happens in a sound healing session?

You settle onto the sand, the session opens with breathwork and a chakra opening, moves into a guided meditation, and then the instruments take over: singing bowls, gongs and other resonant tones washing over you while you simply lie there. About an hour, and no two sessions are exactly alike.

Do I need any experience or beliefs for this?

None. You need a towel and the willingness to lie still on a beautiful beach for a while. Skeptics regularly walk away the most surprised; the physics of resonance does not ask what you believe.

Is this the same as the beach yoga class?

No, they are two different experiences on different days. This is the full sound healing, chakra opening and meditation session, Mondays and Thursdays. The beach yoga class (Tuesdays and Fridays) is a movement practice that ends with a short sound bath, and it has its own page. Many guests do both.

Where exactly on Eagle Beach?

Directly across the street from O Condominium and La Quinta Resort, by the blue exercise equipment, under a shaded area. The exact spot comes with your confirmation, and public parking and the bus stop are right there.

What should we bring?

A towel or mat, water, and comfortable clothes you can lie down in. The instruments and the beach are provided.

The bowls are already on the sand

One deep hour on the best beach on the island, tuned entirely to you. Reserve the session; the deposit waits until your spot is confirmed.
