Baby Beach is a curved natural lagoon at the southernmost tip of Aruba, about 45 minutes from the hotel areas. The shallow, calm, crystal-clear water is warm and gentle, making it the most child-friendly beach on the island. The natural bay provides protection from waves and currents. At the reef edge, snorkeling is surprisingly excellent with colorful tropical fish and coral. The Rum Reef Bar & Grill provides refreshments, but this beach is less developed than the west coast options.

Mid-morning, before the afternoon wind picks up across the southern tip.

Shallow, calm lagoon, the safest beach on the island for small kids. Stay inside the bay; the reef edge has stronger current.

Free gravel lot at the beach entrance; rarely full.

Taxi from Queen Beatrix Airport to Baby Beach: $60
That is the official fare to Baby Beach (Baby Beach on the list). It is per taxi, for one to four passengers, one way, in US dollars. A flat $5 surcharge applies once per trip on Sundays, official holidays, between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, and from December 24 through January 1. Each extra passenger is $3, each extra bag $3.
